  • We successfully conducted our 7th G.O.A. Annual State Conference at The Fern Kadamba Hotel & Spa, Old Goa on 21st & 22nd September 2024.
  • The state conference was revived after a hiatus of 6 years, the last conference being held in 2018.
  • The conference was attended by more than 150 ophthalmologists and post graduates from all over India and was academically graced by local as well as national speakers from the AIOS namely Dr. Vathsalya Vijay, Dr. Parivadhini A., Dr. Pranav More, Dr. Sean Socrates Da Silva, Dr. Jeena Mascarenhas, Dr. Prashant Bawankule, Dr. Sourabh Patwardhan, Dr. Shilpa Kodkany, Dr. Nidhi Patwardhan, Dr. Santosh Honavar, Dr. Manoj Mathur, Dr. Padmamalini Mahendradas, Dr. Girish Velis and Dr. Chandrakant Gaonker.
  • The academic feast also had dedicated trade areas on 2 floors with participation by more than 20 trade partners.
  • Dr. J S Titiyal delivered the prestigious “Dr. Joao Filipe Ferreira oration “.
  • The Gala Dinner on 21st September 2024 showcased the non-academic creative side of ophthalmologists and was enjoyed by one and all.
