Goa Ophthalmological Association won the President s Trophy for the Best State Society in the category of < 100 members for promoting scientific and educational activities in the year 2023-24.The award was received by Dr. Alethea Barbosa (President G.O.A.) and Dr. Nikhil Kamat (Secretary G.O.A.) on behalf of the association at the AIOS conference held in Kolkata in March 2024. This is the first time that such an honour has been bestowed upon G.O.A. and we are sure that this is only the beginning for many more accolades to come in the future. Viva G.O.A. !
